Iron VS Gold
First of all, I wish to congratulate Mat for reaching level 95 Summoning.

We had this arrangement from over a week ago that I'd duel his Iron Titan once he reaches the level to Summon it. We couldn't quite pull that of yesterday when he got the level up, but we managed it this evening. I saw him online and PMed him a reminder; ten minutes later, we were in world 45 at the Duel Arena in Al Kharid gearing up for the fight.
I brought in my Giant Ent to the fight for fun, since he still had over 15 minutes left in his timer from a Farming round. The two of us ganged up on the Iron Titan, while Mat watched passively from the sidelines. He only entered the fray and began attacking my ent after he realised that his titan was overmatched. Even at a Combat level of 220, there's nothing any monster can do against a protection prayer. I eventually deactivated it at Mat's request and got swiftly defeated by the familiar.

Then began round two. No protection prayers were allowed this time, but Mat permitted me to bring food and to use Piety. I decided to be a cheapo and only bring lobsters, but also stashed my Falador Shield into my inventory for extra prayer points. The fight then started, with me getting the upper hand near the start of the duel by hitting three consecutive 30s.
However, this still barely put a dent on the towering beast's massive health, and it soon regained the advantage when Mat started using up his Iron Within scrolls, which allowed the titan to score triple hits on me. I soon grew desperate and started blasting the creature with stored up Dragonfire from my Dragonfire Shield. The damage wasn't spectacular, but at least all the shots met their mark.

I eventually ended up losing the match narrowly, after draining the titan's massive reserve of health to a tiny sliver of green and then getting knocked out by a 5. You got lucky this time, Mat.
